Fair’s Fair began as an idea through a trip to India in 2006, the idea was to create an emporium of beautiful handcrafted products from around the world, buying the highest quality handcrafted goods directly from the producers with an emphasis on ethical and fair trade principles.
When we started our research we were amazed to find the vast and thriving network of fair trade organizations, retailers and suppliers throughout the world, the biggest dilemma was to know where to start, with so many stunning products and worthy project options.
Our Philosophy became clear, we wanted to support individuals and communities to support themsleves, Locally, Nationally and Globally. Our goods are currently sourced from across India, Indonesia & Australia. As we grow we hope to be able to include producers in other countries and expand our product range.
Fair’s Fair Supports the Celebration of Indigenous Arts and Culture
Fair’s Fair respectfully acknowledges the Djadjaawurrung and the Wathaurong people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we are based. We pay our respects to the elders, past and present and acknowledge all people of the Kulin nation.
